In this case, the petitioners are seeking relief of regularization of service.

It appears from the record that as on today, the petitioners have already crossed the age of superannuation. In such view of the matter, this petition has rendered infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed

However, if the petitioners have done work and any salary is pending against the department, they will be at liberty to approach the Authority concerned for payment of salary for the period they discharged the duty.
