JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 19-09-2018 This writ petition has been filed for a direction to respondent authorities to change the route of High Voltage Transmission line so as not to pass over the land of the petitioner.

2. As none appeared on behalf of the petitioner, the matter was passed over for a few cases. However on repeated call, the petitioner was again not represented.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents-Power Grid Corporation of India Limited invites reference to the supplementary counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent nos. 3 to 5 to submit that the writ petition has now become infructuous. It is stated therein

Patna High Court CWJC No.21504 of 2014 dt.19-09-2018 2/2 that the transmission line had already been completed and charged on 16.02.2016. The said project had been dedicated to the nations in a joint meeting of India and Nepal on 20.02.2016.

4. As concerns the petitioner, compensation of Rs. 1,24,492.50 has already been paid to the petitioner on 19.07.2016 by the Power Grid Corporation of India.

5. Having regard to the stand of the respondentCorporation in its supplementary counter affidavit as above, no interference is called for.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
