Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for offence under sections 494498A of the Indian Penal Code and under sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. In view of submissions of the parties that they have resolved their dispute through the process of mediation on terms of settlement mutually agreed upon between them vide mediator's report dated 26.2.2020 as well as the terms of settlement dated 24.2.2020 appended thereto, the provisional bail allowed to the petitioner under order dated 30.7.2019 is hereby confirmed, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
