2. With the consent of both the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the reliefs claimed for in the present writ application, the petitioner has already filed a representation dated 16.06.2025 before the District Magistrate, West Champaran vide AnnexureP/5, which is still pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.10918 of 2025(2) dt.15-07-2025 2/3 further submits that he would be satisfied if an appropriate direction be issued by this Court to the District Magistrate, West Champaran to dispose of the representation of the petitioner on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a fixed time frame, by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

4. The aforesaid prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of directing the District Magistrate, West Champaran to dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner dated 16.06.2025 vide Annexure-P/5 on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The petitioner would be at liberty to supplement the existing representation by filing a supplementary representation, if he so feels the need for it. The entire exercise must be completed by the District Magistrate, West Champaran within two months from the date of production of a copy of this order by the petitioner.
