JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-08-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(a) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or writs direction or directions commanding upon the respondent authorities for the payment of suitable compensation to the tune of 3,00,000/- (three lacs) as number of Sagwan tree planted on plot no. 3259 khata no. 255, area 28 decimals situated at village Maulanagar, P.S. Atri, District Gaya belonging to petitioner has been cut down for installation of overhead electric transmission

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to agitate his grievance by availing such other remedies as are provided for under the law or as are provided for under the judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited vs. Century Textiles & Industries Limited & Ors., reported in 2017(2) PLJR (SC) 152.
