17-05-2016 Sri Akhilesh Dutta Verma, learned counsel for the petitioner, in presence of Sri Santosh Kumar Pandey, learned A.C. to Sri Rama Kant Sharma, learned Senior Law Officer, Vigilance Department, seeks permission to withdraw this petition, on the ground that after filing of this petition, trial has already commenced and till date, number of witnesses have been examined.

The prayer for withdrawal is allowed.

The petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.

Keeping in view the fact that there was a trap case, which was led in the year 2006, while dismissing the present petition, it is desirable to direct the court below to proceed with

The Vigilance Investigation Bureau through its Superintendent of Police is directed to render full cooperation to the court below so that trial may come to its logical end preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
