The petitioner seeks bail in Roshanganj P. S. Case No. 73 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 25(1-b)a, and 26 of the Arms Act.
It is alleged in the written report that Rs. One lakh of the looted money from Toll Plaza, Amas has been recovered from possession of this petitioner.
Seizure list has been prepared which is part of the FIR, which bears signature of this petitioner. It is further mentioned in the seizure list that one country made pistol and one live cartridge along with motorcycle have been recovered from the house of this petitioner.
From para 3 of the bail petition, it appears that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58690 of 2018(3) dt.01-11-2018 2/2 petitioner has criminal antecedent.
Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. The petitioner is given liberty to renew prayer of bail after six months in the event no substantial progress is made in the case.
