2. The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought inter alia following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:

"That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ/writs, direction or directions,

Patna High Court CWJC No.16133 of 2021(3) dt.27-03-2025 2/3 order/orders to respondents to pay to the petitioner (i) Arrear of salary according to 6th pay scale which is approximately 2,87,123/- (Two lakh Eighty seven thousand one hundred twenty three), (ii) Arrear of difference amount of salary and difference amount of pension according to 7th pay scale, (iii) arrear of earn leave encashment of 16 days and (iv) other consequential benefit."

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had joined the service as Demonstrator (Chemistry) in J.P. College Narayan, Bhagalpur on 02.09.1975 and was promoted to the post of Lecturer (Chemistry) on 06.09.1988 and was again promoted to the post of Reader (Associate Professor), Chemistry on 30.09.1997 in T.N.B. College, Bhagalpur, which comes under Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur at the relevant point of time. The petitioner had retired from the post of Associate Professor, Chemistry on 30.06.2017 and he is entitled for all the benefits and pay revision with effect from the date of his entitlement. Petitioner is also entitled for the benefit of 6th and 7th pay revision. Learned counsel informs that petitioner has already filed his representation before the University which is pending till date and the other similarly situated employee have been given the similar relief by the University.

4. Considering the fact that petitioner is aggrieved by non-payment and revision of his pay scale after giving benefit of

Patna High Court CWJC No.16133 of 2021(3) dt.27-03-2025 3/3 6th and 7th pay revision from the effective date, who had retired on 30.06.2017 from the post of Associate Professor (Chemistry) from T.N.B. College, Bhagalpur, the Registrar of the University is directed to call for the service particulars relating to the petitioner from all the places of his service and redress the grievance of the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law.

5. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the Registrar of the University by furnishing all the requisite information forthwith so that his grievance may be redressed without any further delay.

6. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
