Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No. 244 of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act. Allegedly, one country-made pistol was recovered from the possession of this petitioner.

The main submissions advanced by learned counsel Mr. Rajeev Ranjan appearing for the petitioner are that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 30.05.2022 and he has clean antecedent and has been falsely implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43630 of 2022(2) dt.24-11-2022 2/2 instant matter in respect of recovery of the fire-arm and against the petitioner the investigation has been completed. Learned APP Mr. Anuj Kumar Shrivastava appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer.

Heard both the sides and perused the FIR. Though from the possession of this petitioner one country-made pistol was allegedly recovered but considering his clean antecedent and his custody period and also the fact that against him investigation has been completed and his case is at initial stage, in the opinion of this Court the petitioner deserves to a lenient approach of this Court. Accordingly, let the petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No. 244 of 2022.
