No. 517 of 2009 on 17.08.2012, this Court had directed the respondents to take action for granting compassionate appointment to the petitioner in view of the land acquired.

From the show-cause filed by the Railway Administration, it is seen that action has been taken, the petitioner has been directed to submit various documents and information for

Patna High Court MJC No.6273 of 2013 dt.23-06-2017 2/2 settlement of her claim and it is indicated that until and unless the petitioner submits her documents, her claim cannot be processed. The show-cause has been filed on 24.04.2017 and there is no rebuttal to the same.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, it is directed that in case the petitioner submits the requisite information before the Competent Authority of the Railway Administration within a reasonable period, preferably within a period of two months from today, the competent authority of the Railway Administration shall process the claim and settle it in accordance with law within a period of further two months. With the aforesaid, the contempt application stands disposed of.
