Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No.212 of 2017, registered under Sections 387 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that demand of extortion money was made from a particular mobile.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that mobile number is not of the petitioner but to some other accused, only disclosure of the name of the petitioner made by another accused regarding his involvement in making demand, there is no other material and police has submitted charge-sheet and the petitioner is in custody since 12.09.2017.

No.57605 of 2017 (4) dt.17-01-2018 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, petitioner Pappu Kumar Singh @ Pappu Financer @ Anand Kumar Singh is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No.212 of 2017.
