Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Patori P.S. Case No. 100 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no injury report, however, injury report was called for, but has not been received. No purpose will be served by keeping the case pending in this court for such a long time.

If the police during investigation submits the chargesheet and files the injury report then the court below shall take a decision whether to continue with the anticipatory bail or reject the anticipatory bail of the petitioner. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this application is allowed.
