Versus
1. The State of Bihar. .... .... Opposite Party/s ====================================================== Appearance :
For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Brij Kishor Mishra For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Sri Rajeev Nayan ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-10-2017 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 18.03.2017 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 7656 of 2017 with an observation that petitioner may renew his prayer of bail if the trial is not concluded within a period of six months. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that all the witnesses have been examined including the I.O. and Medical Officer. Petitioner is in custody since long. Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Having heard both sides, the impugned order shows that trial is likely to be concluded in a month, and in such view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of four months. With the aforesaid observation, this application stands disposed of.
