2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 302, 120B,34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Earlier prayer of grant of regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 06.12.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59399 of 2023 with a direction to trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as soon as possible.

4. In compliance of order dated 12.7.2024, a progress report dated 22.7.2024 has been received from which it appears that the case is pending for evidence of prosecution witnesses and it will take nine months to conclude the trial.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that trial has not been concluded as yet. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 31.3.2023.

6. In that view of the matter, this application stands disposed off.

7. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of nine months positively, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U
