Though the present writ petition was initially filed for many reliefs including setting aside of the order whereby the petitioners were reverted to the status of daily-wagers, but with the passage of time, their services were regularized and the prayer now is confined to pay benefits, namely, pay fixation, promotion etc. as also for the payment of difference
Patna High Court CWJC No.6531 of 2011(14) dt.28-11-2018 2/2 of salary for a particular period.
Under similar circumstances, a Bench of this Court vide order dated 03.04.2018, passed in C.W.J.C. No. 13360 of 2010 directed the petitioners therein to make a representation in that regard before the Engineer-in-Chief, Public Health Engineering Department, Vishsweshriya Bhawan, Patna, who was in turn directed to look into the matter and pass orders in accordance with law. The petitioners are also given the liberty to make a representation to the Engineer-in-Chief, Public Health Engineering Department, Visheswariya Bhawan, Patna within a period of three weeks from today, and if such representation is filed, the concerned officer shall examine the individual case of the petitioners and shall pass necessary orders in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition stands disposed off.
