This is an application for bail in connection with Special Case No. 17 of 2017, arising out of K. Nagar (Srinagar) P.S.Case No. 396 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of N.D.P.S. Act.
Allegation is of recovery of 930 and odd kg. of ganja from the truck and 50 and odd kg. of ganja from Bolero vehicle. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioners are drivers and nothing has been recovered from their conscious possession and they are in custody for two months. Heard learned APP also.
Having heard both sides and considering the facts and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55812 of 2017 (2) dt.20-11-2017 2/2 circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
