Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sakra PS Case No. 216 / 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 328, 304 (B) / 34 of the IPC. The allegation is that the petitioner along with other family members have killed the daughter of the informant due to non- fulfillment of the demand of dowry by administering poison. The marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized with the son of the petitioner in the year 2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased and has not committed any offence in the manner alleged and all the family members have been falsely implicated in this case. He next submits that from perusal of the FIR it would be evident that

The allegation against the petitioner and others is general and omnibus in nature. Petitioner is aged about 70 years, he is in custody since 3-4-2021 and charge sheet has already been submitted .
Regard being had to the submissions made by the parties, taking into consideration the material on record, the fact that petitioner is aged about 70 years, he is in custody since 3/4/2021 and allegation against him is general and omnibus in nature, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20000 /- ( twenty thousand ) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. 12th , Muzaffarpur ( East ) in connection with Sakra PS Case No. 216 of 2018.
