2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Spl. (POCSO) Case No. 01 of 2024 arising out of Raniganj P.S. Case No. 370 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 363, 366A, 376 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 4 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have committed rape upon the victim girl.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case because of a dispute over some money.

5. The petitioner is in custody since 5.10.2023.

6. Considering the direct allegation of rape levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
