1. The writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus commanding the respondents to take immediate steps for construction of drainage system in Gandhi Nagar Mohalla, Road No.2, Ward No.2, situated in the eastern side of Patliputra Railway Station which comes under Patna Municipal Corporation.

2. Admittedly, there was an earlier writ petition filed for the very same relief and the Municipal Corporation had informed the Court that a proposal will be placed before the sanctioning authority positively within six months from 25.10.2021; on which date the writ petition was disposed of after recording the aforesaid undertaking. There cannot be successive writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.9894 of 2023 dt.18-07-2023 3/3 petitions on the same matter and if, at all, there is disobedience of the Municipal Corporation, the remedy is not a subsequent writ petition.

3. The writ petition would stand dismissed.
