The petitioner seeks bail in Alipur P.S. Case No. 75 of 2020, registered for the offence under Sections 384, 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, informant, who is Munsi of a construction company, received a ransom call of Rs. Two Lacs on his mobile phone and on the next day, five unknown accused persons, on the point of arms, took Rs.50,000/- cash and cheque of Rs. One Lac from him and demanded more money from the informant.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that name of the petitioner has come during course of investigation on the confessional statement of co-accused Rahul Kumar. Though,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53276 of 2021(2) dt.28-01-2022 2/2 informant claims that he identifies the accused persons, but till date, petitioner has not been put on T.I.P. Similarly situated coaccused namely Manoj Yadav has been granted bail by this Court, vide order dated 21.01.2022 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 44365 of 2021. Petitioner is in custody since 06.01.2021. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Gaya in connection with Alipur P.S.
