Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner in association of his family members always used to torture the daughter of the informant for nonfulfillment of dowry demand and ultimately she has been killed by the accused persons and destroyed the dead body. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that petitioner bears no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application and he is languishing in judicial custody since 05.10.2019 Considering the fact that the petitioner is the husband

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40004 of 2020(3) dt.23-03-2021 2/2 of the deceased, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Sikti P.S. Case No. 12 of 2014 pending before the court of the learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Araria.
