2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tatarpur P.S. Case No. 86 of 2024 corresponding to Special Case No. 1824 of 2024 registered for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016 and Amendment Act, 2022.

3. As per the prosecution case, 18 liters of illicit liquor was recovered from a bag which was seized by the police.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 23.04.2024.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Excise Judge-2, Bhagalpur / concerned Court below in connection with Tatarpur P.S. Case No. 86 of 2024.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Habibpur Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
