1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in Sultanganj P. S. Case No.483 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are persons with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that 10.09.2023, informant was returning from the shop of Ankit choudhary after buying a golden bangle of 20.4 grams and while he was going to Sultanganj Station for taking a train, when he was intercepted by three miscreants near

No.47410 of 2024(2) dt.27-08-2024 2/3 a Pipal tree at Adarsh Nagar, who took the informant to a small lane and snatched the golden bangle by putting the informant on gun point. Further, informant identified the petitioners to be the miscreants. They also allege that they also snatched Rs.2500/- from his pocket.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant. It is also submitted that informant and the petitioners have compromised and petitioners are also businessmen, who carry their all business of gold jewellery at Sultanganj.

5. Learned A.P.P. Sri Chandra Bhushan Prasad vehemently opposes the anticipatory bail application and submits that from perusal of the allegation as alleged in the F.I.R., it would manifest that the informant has identified the petitioners to be the miscreants, who snatched golden bangle and Rs.2500/-. It is also submitted that such crime are becoming rampant.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned A.P.P., the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

7. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioners for
