JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 04-05-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Khiri More P.S. Case No. 28 of 2015 instituted for the offence under Sections304B, 120B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is husband of the deceased. There is allegation that she was tortured for demand of dowry and finally, she was done to death by burn injury within seven years of her marriage for non-fulfillment of illegal demand of dowry. From the written report itself, it appears that the deceased died unnatural death in her sasural for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and there is allegation against the petitioner of demand of dowry from the deceased.

In such circumstances, this court is not inclined to grant

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34724 of 2016 (4) dt.04-05-2017 anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender in the court below and seek regular bail, which shall be disposed off in accordance with law on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
