The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that the petitioner submitted an application for obtaining Land Possession Certificate by forged signature of Revenue Karamchari Jagdish Paswan and forged land rent receipt with regard to the land.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is nothing on record to suggest that the petitioner submitted the alleged forged rent receipt or application of forged signature of Revenue Karamchari. It is further submitted that informant being the Circle

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35692 of 2016 (2) dt.01-09-2016 Officer in order to save his skin has lodged the present case and ultimately Land Possession Certificate has not been issued. Statement has been made in para-3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna City in connection with Fatwah P.S. Case No. 427 of 2015, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
