2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in Excise P.S. Case No. 912 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section-30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. Allegedly, out of 80 litres, 60 litres of illegal country-made liquor is said to have been recovered from motorcycle of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is the person of clean antecedent. It has further been submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner. The

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, specially, the criminal antecedent, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise-II, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 912 of 2024 subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate with the trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.

7. Before accepting the bail bond, the criminal antecedent of the petitioner shall be verified from the Superintendent of Police, East Champaran, Motihari and if, it is found that he is involved in any other case, his bail bond shall not be accepted.
