The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Buxar (Town) P.S. Case no. 149 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Four accused persons including the petitioner are said to have caught hold the informant while he was on his way to his house and accused Karan Singh opened fire upon him by means of country made pistol, but he escaped the fire. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant has not sustained any fire arm injury. He has been falsely implicated in the case due to high

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53741 of 2017 (2) dt.09-11-2017 handedness of police. The petitioner has been languishing in custody since 5.5.2017.

On the other hand, learned APP for the State submitted that the petitioner having criminal antecedent and he has resorted firing upon the informant with intention to do away with his life, but the informant escaped the firing. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Buxar (Town) P.S. Case no. 149 of 2017.
