The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as constable ignoring his disqualification of being underweight which was found by the Medical Board as well as the Review Medical Board. Candidature of the petitioner was found to be wanting on the various grounds by the Medical Board including some defects like Varicose vein and some other disqualification. The review Medical Board cleared him on all other aspects however even before the Review Medical Board he was found underweight. The petitioner wants that the said disqualification should be

No ground has been made so as to assert such right for ignoring the standards laid down, which ensures the non-arbitrary and non discriminatory selection of the candidate as per requirement of the job. Writ petition has been filed in the year 2014, though the petitioner had been declared unfit by the Medical Board as far back as on 28.10.2011.
This Court does not find any reason to interfere with the decision of the respondents. The writ petition is dismissed. (Madhuresh Prasad, J) Shashi.
