Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections341, 323, 385, 387, 504, 506/34 of the IPC.

As per the prosecution case, allegation against the petitioner is that he along with another co-accused person, Bambam Kumar, abused the informant and on objection, coaccused Bambam Kumar who was sitting with the petitioner on motorcycle, threatened the informant on account of dispute and demanded Rangdari tax failing which he would be killed. It is further alleged that the informant gave Rs. 7500/- to the petitioner due to the petitioner due to fear of death.

No.45873 of 2022(2) dt.06-12-2022 2/2 Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the specific accusation of demand of Rangdari is against co -accused Bumbum Kumar. There is delay of 2 days in lodging the FIR and there is no explanation for the same. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts of the case, in the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Begusarai Mufassil (Lakho) P.S. Case No. 56 of 2022 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) asmit/- U T
