The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No.97 of 2018 registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing the deceased, the sister of the informant, by her husband and other in-laws for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are parents-in-law of the deceased, the sister of the informant, and in the F.I.R., no specific overt act is attributed to them. Moreover, Bitu Mahto, the husband of the deceased, the

No.63886 of 2018(6) dt.17-06-2019 2/2 sister of the informant, has already been apprehended by the police on 11.06.2018, which would appear from paragraph-24 of the case diary. The petitioners have no criminal antecedents. Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender by them within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VIII, Motihari, in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No.97 of 2018, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
