The present petition is by way of second attempt at the behest of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Naugachia P.S. Case No. 215 of 2019 (G.R. No. 849 of 2019) for the offence punishable under sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code in as much as the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail has been rejected earlier vide order dated 06.01.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30314 of 2020. The allegation is regarding the petitioner, who is the husband of the victim lady, having killed his wife in connivance with other accused persons on account of non-fulfillment of the demand for dowry.

The Ld. counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

Per contra, the learned APP for the State, Shri Ashok Kumar, has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the fact that there is no change in circumstance so as to warrant reconsideration of the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail, I do not find any merit in the petition, hence, the same stands dismissed.
