Nadim Seraj, learned counsel for the Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga (hereinafter referred to as the 'University').

2. The petitioner in the present case is seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to accept the research thesis of the petitioner for awarding her Ph.D. degree. She has further prayed for conducting the viva and provide her the award of Ph.D. degree in case she is declared successful in the viva-voce.

3. The University has filed a counter affidavit. In paragraph '6' of the counter affidavit, a specific statement has been made that the claim of the petitioner has been allowed. She has been allowed to submit her thesis along with requisite fee through proper channel with all required documents.

4. Learned counsel for the University has placed before this Court Annexure 'R3/A' which is Letter No. Ph.D. 1493/2023 dated 27.07.2023 issued under the signature of the Deputy Controller of Exams (Research) to the petitioner requesting her to submit her Ph.D. thesis.

5. In the aforesaid view of the matter, this writ application has become infructuous and is being disposed of accordingly.
