2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Earlier prayer of grant of regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 22.6.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 74558 of 2022 with a direction to trial court to conclude the trial as soon as possible.

4. In compliance of order dated 2.7.2024, a progress report dated 22.7.2024 has been received from which it appears that it will take six months to conclude the trial.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46274 of 2024(3) dt.02-08-2024 2/2 trial has not been concluded as yet. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 2.8.2022.

6. In that view of the matter, this application stands disposed off.

7. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months positively, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U
