The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under sections 30(a), 37(b) and (c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 12.4.2022 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 62004 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner is in custody since 19.7.2021.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

No.43888 of 2022(2) dt.14-09-2022 2/2 taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner, the liberty granted to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 12.4.2022 and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year since 19.7.2021, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Barauli (Madhopur O.P) P.S. Case no. 208 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj.
