JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 22-08-2023 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide Memo No. 382 dated 13.04.2022, the Special Director (Secondary Education), Education Department, Government of Bihar wrote to the Secretary of the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board, Patna (hereinafter referred to as the 'Board') to take steps towards approval of the appointment of the petitioner who is an Assistant Teacher on the post of Headmaster in accordance with law but till date the Secretary of the Board has not taken appropriate steps.

2. Learned counsel submits that in this regard

Patna High Court CWJC No.9972 of 2023(2) dt.22-08-2023 2/2 representations have also been made vide Annexure '7 Series' to the writ application.

Learned counsel for the Board submits that this writ application may be disposed of with an appropriate direction to the Board to consider the representation of the petitioner in the light of the communication from the Special Director (Secondary Education) within a reasonable period and take an appropriate decision thereon.

4. Learned counsel for the State is also present.

5. Having regard to the aforementioned submissions, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the Secretary of the Board to act in accordance with law in the light of the Memo No. 382 dated 13.04.2022 (Annexure '6'), consider the representation of the petitioner and take an appropriate decision within a period of three months from the date of receipt/communication of a copy of this order. 6.

This writ application stands disposed of accordingly.
