Petitioner seeks bail in Patna Rail P.S. Case No.138 of 2017 (Sessions Trial No.30 of 2018) instituted for the offence under Section(s) 201, 302, 420, 467, 468 and 471 Indian Penal Code pending in the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge, 1st, Patna.
Prayer of the petitioner for bail was earlier rejected by this Court on merit by order dated 22.02.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No.75019 of 2018. There is specific allegation against the petitioner as described, in detail, in the earlier order. This Court does not find any fresh ground to reconsider the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45862 of 2019(2) dt.31-07-2019 2/2 Prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is, again, rejected.
The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and make all efforts to conclude the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
Liberty is given to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after nine months, if no substantive progress is made in the trial.
