The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Obra P.S. Case No. 29 of 2016, registered under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of the SDJM, Daudnagar, Aurangabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation one Jitendra Prasad was apprehended by the Police, who disclosed that he approached Ranjit Bahadur to purchase the looted beer and he also disclosed the name of the petitioner as his associate in the offence.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38865 of 2016 (2) dt.04-10-2016 2/2 inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trail Court within four weeks and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial Court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
