Counsel for the petitioner accepts the position that post-retiral dues have been settled. However, gratuity has not been released and payment of salary for the period of suspension, i.e., 09.10.2004 to 29.05.2008, after sanction, has not been released. It emerges that there are certain advances, which have not been accounted for by the petitioner. That is the reason why the final settlement has not been made.

Patna High Court CWJC No.19681 of 2015 dt.19-09-2016 2/2 Let the petitioner help in reconciling the accounts with regard to those advances and work done, so that the left over issues can be sorted out in favour of the petitioner.
