2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pothia P.S. Case No. 274 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147/149/341/323/332/353/379/411/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 21 of MMDR Act, Section 56 of Bihar Mineral (Concession Prevention of Illegal Mining Transportation and Storage) Rule, 2019 and 15 of the Environment (Protection) Act.

3. The petitioner is involved in illegal mining and is in jail since 13.04.2024. The petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

4. Considering the period of custody, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50131 of 2024(2) dt.24-07-2024 2/2 Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, I/c Kishanganj/concerned court in connection with Pothia P.S. Case No. 274/2023.

5. The petitioner is directed to mark his attendance in Pothia police station on 1st Sunday and 3rd Sunday of every month. Failure to do so, will result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
