This appeal has been filed for setting aside order dated 13.06.2024 passed in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 148 149, 341, 323, 332, 333 , 337, 307, 353 , 427 and 504 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3(i)(r)(s) 3(2)(v)(a) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, whereby the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant has been rejected.

3. As per the prosecution case , on the alleged date and time of occurrence , these appellants along with other coaccused persons abused informant by his caste name and also

Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.2898 of 2024(2) dt.02-09-2024 2/2 assaulted the police personnel (informant) and others as a result of which some of police personnel sustained injuries.

5. Considering the nature of accusation and other circumstances of the case , I do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned order, accordingly this appeal is dismissed. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Koushik/- U T
