The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 592 of 2019, registered under Sections 409, 420, 467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada. The accusation is that in between 16.01.2019 to 28.01.2019, Rs. 3,50,00,000/- was withdrawn from the State Bank of India, Nawada by head post office, Nawada, where petitioner was posted as Postmaster and one Ambika Choudhary was posted as Cashier, but only one entry was made in the record regarding withdrawal of Rs. One Crore. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that, in fact, at the relevant time, Ambika

No.41265 of 2019(2) dt.05-07-2019 2/2 Choudhary was cashier and he was responsible for withdrawing of cash, but petitioner being the Postmaster at the relevant time has falsely been implicated in this case. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial Court within four weeks and pray for regular bail, which would be considered by the trial Court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
