1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 506 and 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has antecedent of one case which was instituted by the present informant. It is further submitted that the petitioner being mother-in-law of the informant has been falsely implicated in the present case alleging that the informant was being tortured for non-fulfillment of the demand of dowry by the accused persons including the petitioner, it is further

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44079 of 2023(2) dt.21-07-2023 2/2 submitted that from perusal of the allegations as alleged in the FIR it would manifest that the allegation of demand of dowry is general and omnibus in nature, it is further submitted that husband of the informant is in custody.

4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Brahampur P.S. Case No. 684 of 2021 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
