JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 27-09-2019 Petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sheosagar (Baddi) P.S. Case No. 44 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(b), 18 and 120(A) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act. As per FIR there is recovery of opium plants from the field of the petitioner.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the land does not belong to him and he has falsely been implicated in this case and at present there is no report regarding authenticity of the fact that it is opium plant. Heard learned APP also.

In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
