2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

"(i) for grant of an appropriate writ for quashing the Letter No.541 dated 6.5.2021 of the Land Reforms Deputy Collector. Sitamarhi Sadar (Annexure- P/3) refusing to pass order on the petition filed by the petitioner for fixation of rent of the land of the petitioner after correcting the area of the land as per measurement and map stating that he has no jurisdiction to modify/change the area of land in khatiyan and sending the record of the case to the competent authority for further

(ii) for grant of appropriate writ for a direction to the respondents, particularly Respondent No.5 (Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Sitamarhi Sadar) to fix the rent for actual area of Kabil Lagan land in possession of the petitioner as per map and measurement, which include that much area of land which is in excess to the area mentioned in the khatiyan."

3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be agitating the matter before the respondent no. 4, the Additional Collector, Sitamarhi against the order passed by the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Sadar, Sitamarhi.

4. Learned State counsel has no objection to it.

5. In that background, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the respondent Additional Collector, Sitamarhi for the redressal of the grievance.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
