2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 448, 307, 326, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act registered in connection with Matihani P.S. Case No. 197 of 2017.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated as both the parties are Mahanths vying for supremacy. It appears that a civil dispute is also going on in Title Suit No. 70 of 2006 at the instance of the informant. There is no eye-witness to the alleged occurrence. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Learned APP, on the other hand, opposes the anticipatory bail petition on the basis of the case diary, submitting that the injury report corroborates the accusation of firing by the petitioner and co-accused Chunchun Singh, as the informant has received fire-arm injury on the back and thigh.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity
