1. The State of Bihar .... Opposite Party ====================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioners : Mr. Ambika Bhagat, Adv. For the Opposite Party : Mr. Chandra Bhushan Prasad, APP 92 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-12-2016 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 447, 341, 323, 504, 506, 307 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

For land dispute petitioners allegedly assault the informant. Specific allegation of commission of injury at the head of the informant is against petitioner, Shankar Yadav. Considering the fact that petitioner no. 1, Shanker Yadav, had knowledge that his act might cause death, I am not inclined to enlarge him on anticipatory bail. His prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

As there is case and counter case, petitioner no. 2, Ranjeet Yadav in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Halsi P.S.
