2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in the present case registered for the offence under Sections 188, 341, 323, 325, 307, 427, 353, 337 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 45 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2022.
3. As per the prosecution case, when the police party raided and arrested some person dealing in illicit liquor, the villagers assaulted the police party in which a number of excise officials were injured. One of the injured home guard, constable had to be admitted in ICU.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 17.05.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this application for regular bail is allowed.
7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of charge if the charge has not already been framed on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand)with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge-I, Civil Court, East Champaran at Motihari/concerned Court below in connection with Pipra Kothi P.S. Case No. 103 of 2024 subject to condition that:- 7(i). The petitioner will mark his attendance at the Piprakothi Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
