This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Hajipur Town Police Station Case No. 567 of 2016, disclosing offences under Sections 406, 498-A, 323, 307, 34 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the parties have settled their dispute before the Patna High Court Mediation Centre, Patna vide Mediation Proceeding No. 316 of 2017, which is evident from the report of the Mediator, which is on record at Flag-A. Hence, the petitioner deserves the privilege

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hajipur, in connection with Hajiput Town Police Station Case No. 567 of 2016, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
