Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Ayar P.S. Case No. 34 of 2013 registered under Sections304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner, who is husband of the deceased, is of torture and assault due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. Ultimately the deceased was done to death by the husband and other in-laws of the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that deceased was having mental problem. On the date of alleged occurrence petitioner was in Ara and when he came back he learn about the incidence.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55478 of 2016 (3) dt.28-01-2017 2/2 Considering the gravity of allegations levelled against the petitioner, who is husband of the deceased, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, rejected.
