In the present writ petition, petitioner is seeking relief in the pay-scale of Rs.3200-4900, grade pay Rs.2000 in view of the Fitment Committee Report contained in para 3.16.1 Irrigation Revenue Collector but in stead of granting the aforesaid pay-scale he has been given pay-scale of Rs. 30504590 and grade pay of Rs.1900 with effect from 1.4.2007. As per claim of the petitioner, he was appointed as a Collector in Revenue Division, Patna in the pay-scale of Rs.950-2400 vide letter no.190 dated 11.2.1999 and

Patna High Court CWJC No.22619 of 2013 (2) dt.29-06-2016 accordingly he joined the post. Vide resolution no.660 dated 8.2.1999 the Government of Bihar has granted the benefit arising out of 5th Pay Revision Commission report. Accordingly pay-scale of the petitioner has been fixed Rs.3050-4590 and grade pay of Rs.1900. Claim of the petitioner is that his pay-scale has wrongly been fixed and he should have been given the pay scale of Rs.3200-4900 grade pay of Rs.2000.

The petitioner filed a representation which is pending before Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, has not taken any care to dispose of the representation filed by him. As representation is pending before the Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar, Patna he is directed to dispose of the said representation of the petitioner. For convenience, petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation along with earlier representation including the copy of this order before the Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar, Patna who is directed to dispose of the aforesaid representation by a reasoned order within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
